What are the primary plywood grades manufactured by Vision Plywoods?
Vision Plywoods manufactures four core plywood lines: (1) Okoume MR Grade for smooth dry-area interiors, (2) Gurjan Core Marine BWP (IS:710) for boiling-water-proof (BWP) performance in kitchens and wet areas, (3) Alternate MR Grade (IS:303) for commercial partitions and office interiors, and (4) BWP Full Red Hardwood Core for heavy load-bearing cabinetry, all available in standard 6mm, 8mm, 12mm, 16mm, and 18mm thicknesses.
MR or BWP: how do I choose?
For areas exposed to water, moisture, steam, or high humidity, such as modular kitchen cabinets, under-sink vanities, and bathrooms, Gurjan Marine BWP (IS:710) is recommended. For dry interior zones such as bedroom wardrobes, TV wall units, and decorative paneling, Okoume MR Grade provides superior surface smoothness for laminates and paints.
